Southern Minnesota's Miss United States Agriculture

Ever since I was a little girl I have had a passion for the agricultural industry. Now being older I have many opportunities to advocate for this amazing industry. One way I advocate is by serving as Southern Minnesota's Miss US Ag. As a queen I am able to educate others on the importance of agriculture and what we do within the industry. I also have many opportunities to work with kids, agricultural businesses, and consumers to educate them about this every changing industry. Queening has helped me to grow in my public speaking, community presence, and leadership skills. As a leader within the agricultural industry I have to keep up to date with current issues, events, and social media to help advocate for the agricultural sector.

New Student Orientation

As an Orientation Leader we were assigned to different tasks. One of my tasks was presenting on behalf of 273 different organizations on the SDSU campus. We were able to show off the many amazing organizations an advocate for getting involved while at college. We shared our stories of involvement and talked about why getting involved is important. This opportunity helped me to grow my speaking skills along with campus knowledge. It helped me to become a better advocate in this area of expertise and has been an asset when talking to other individuals about involvement whether it be in high school, college, and beyond.
