Heifer Project

During my project I had a goal of raising $500 to send a heifer overseas to a family in need. Through a variety of fundraisers I was able to raise $570 for this project. During this project I was able to work with different clubs, businesses, and community members to raise funds for my project.When talking to potential donors I had to learn how to portray the story in a positive way. People want to learn but you sometimes have to adapt to the different ways people learn. For example some people like to read something explaining your project and others would rather communicate with you. I was able to grow the way I communicated with others and showing the passion that I had for this project. This project helped me to grow in many ways and is something I would like to continue in the future.
